Savoie Museum

Interesting
This museum is set up in an old Franciscan convent. It houses an attractive prehistoric and Gallo-Roman collection, there are galleries dedicated to religious art (medieval above all) to Savoyard coins, early Savoyard paintings and some mural paintings, a superb insight into the local life at the end of the 13C. The Regional ethnographic department has a collection of articles illustrating the occupations, the domestic life and the popular art of the region.
