Ludwig Museum

Recommended
Established in a building by P. Busmann and G. Haberer, the jagged roof of Ludwig museum provides a striking contrast with the Gothic cathedral and railway station. 20C art takes pride of place in this museum with work by leading artists of most of the major artistic movements: Klee, Ernst, Braque, Klein, Saint-Phalle, Calder, Picasso, Beuys, Richter, to name but a few. The edifice is also home to the Philharmonic Society and a Photography Museum.
