Museum of Arts and Folklore of Dresden
All the skill and taste of the Saxons in terms of arts and crafts are found in the many pieces exhibited in the oldest Renaissance building in the city, erected in 1568: painted furniture, pottery and basketwork, blue printed fabric, crockery, etc. Saxon and Swabian regional costumes are displayed here, along with toys, Christmas decorations, and wooden sculptures. The world of mining is also illustrated by many objects.
