Pyrgos Dirou
The Essential
At Pyrgos Dirou you enter the most picturesque part of the Máni Peninsula, where hamlets and villages are dotted about a rugged landscape of rocky scrubland, olive trees and prickly pears. On either side of the road, Nomia and Kita stand with their towers facing each other, like two warriors on the alert. The clans of these two villages spent almost thirty years killing each other in the 19C.
