Nyírbátor Protestant Church
This Calvinist church boasts a magnificent Gothicvault graced with finely sculpted ribs descending into very elegant columns. One side of the vault is lit by very tall ogival windows. The carved wooden pulpit, the prie-dieux and the white walls create an atmosphere of austerity, simplicity and serenity. Strangely separated from the church itself, the bell tower with its four pinnacles and shingled roof provides a contrast with the svelte lightness of the building.
