Carlow

Carlow
The Essential
County town of the second smallest county in Ireland, Carlow is situated on the east bank of the River Barlow and its tributary, the Burren. Downstream from the bridge (1815), old warehouses line the riverbank, and alternatively a pleasant walk can be found on the upstream side. As well as its oldest industry, sugar refinement, a number of international companies have recently set up in Carlow.
