Bank of Ireland
The former building of the Irish Houses of Parliament was bought by the Bank of Ireland. The counters are in the old House of Commons, whose ceiling is adorned with lion's heads; the old House of Lords has remained pretty well intact with its beautiful coffered ceiling and 17C tapestries. From 1728, year of its completion, until 1800, when the Act of Union abolished local rule transferring it to Westminster, Ireland was governed from this elegant edifice.
