National Museum of Decorative Arts & History

Recommended
Collins Barracks (1700) used to house 3 000 men and 1 000 horses, and was in its time the largest barracks in the British Isles. Several sections of the National Museum are presented here: decorative arts, folk traditions, history and geology. See the wonderful Curators' Choice in the west building, an eclectic selection of 25 objects, including a rare astrolabe from Prague and a gaunt wooden statue (13C-14C) of St Molaise.
