Abbey Theatre

The building may be mundane, but it remains a proud symbol of Irish culture. It is devoted to portraits of famous playwrights (Shaw, Synge, Yeats, O'Casey) and other less well-known authors. In the same building, the Peacock Theatre is devoted to contemporary and experimental works.
