Dublinia

In the Synod Hall, linked to Christ Church Cathedral by a covered gallery, a fascinating exhibition, Dublinia, brings the medieval city to life. Period scenes and costumed mannequins, a splendid scale model of Dublin c. 1500, an important excavation site on the banks of the Liffey have all been recreated, in addition to the face of a medieval Dublin woman, whose skeleton was found a short distance away.
