Dún Aengus (Dún Aonghasa)
On the isle of Inishmore, a footpath winds up the hill to the edge of the cliffs, where there is a great drystone fort, depicted by three lines of defence. Stone stakes are planted at an angle between the outer wall and the middle wall to ward off attacks.
