St Canice's Cathedral
St Canice's cathedral stands on a hillock which may have been the site of a church founded by Saint Canice. It was built in the 13C in early English Gothic style and has been restored on several occasions. The western end of the nave commands the finest view of the interesting architecture of this cathedral, one of the longest in Ireland. It contains several beautiful tombs.
