Parco nazionale del Circeo (Circeo National park)

Founded in 1934, this park stretches along a narrow coastal band between Anzio and Terracina and encompasses a part of the Pontine marshes. Among the sites are the Monte Circeo, which owes its name to the magician who captured Ulysses and his companions, the Sabaudia lake and the panoramic road, from S. Felice to Torre Cervia, flanked by luxury villas and typically Mediterranean plants.
