Area Sacra of Largo Argentina

Recommended
The Area Sacra is the name given to the archaeological site excavated from 1926 to 1929 on Largo Argentina. Composed of four temples (three rectangular, and a circular one at the centre) oriented eastwards, the site dates from the Republican period (6C-2C BC). Archaeologists have yet to ascertain to which gods these temples were dedicated.
