Piazza della Loggia (Loggia Square)

Interesting
Today Brescia's town hall, this Loggia was built in the late 15C to early 16C by various architects including Sansovino and Palladio who contributed to the upper storey. Opposite, the clock tower is surmounted by two automatons which ring the hours. To the left of the Loggia stand the palaces of the old and new pawnbroker's. Finally, north of the square is a working-class district with many old houses.
