Piazza della Loggia (Loggia Square)

Interesting
Today the Brescia town hall, this Loggia was built (late 15C to early 16C) by various architects including Sansovino and Palladio who contributed to the upper storey. Opposite, the clock tower is surmounted by two automatons which ring the hours. On the south side are the palaces of the old and new pawnbroker's. Finally, north of the square is a working-class district with many old houses.
