Egyptian Museum

Highly recommended
The Egyptian museum is located in a 17C palace, also the headquarters of the Science Academy. It is one of the largest Italian museums and houses one of the world's finest collections of Egyptian antiquities, including historic collections and finds from digs carried out from 1900 to 1935 by the Missione Archeologica Italiana. The museum is justly proud of its sculpture section, which is displayed, as are the other exhibits, using modern, multimedia methods. Truly fascinating!
