Medieval Village of the Valentino Park of Turin

Interesting
Contrary to appearances, this medieval town doesn't date from the 15C, but from 1884, the year of the Italian World Fair, which was held in the grounds. It has to be said, the complex is very well done and it would have been a shame if it had been dismantled after the fair, as initially planned. As it is, generations of Turin kids have been able to enjoy wandering among the shops or in the fortress, pretending to be medieval knights or noblewomen.
