Turin Duomo

Interesting
Whether authentic or not, Medieval or ancient, you can't go to Turin and not make a visit to see the Shroud, which is said to have been wrapped around the body of Jesus when he was taken down from the Cross. The Shroud of Turin is exhibited in a chapel in the rotunda, a true Baroque masterpiece by Guarini. Built at the end of the 15th C. by the Cardinal della Rovere, the Duomo has three delicately sculpted portals and a bell tower crowned by a work by Juvarra.
