Brindisi

Brindisi
The Essential
For two thousand years travellers have disembarked in Brindisi from Greece, the Balkans and the Middle East. However, this historic role has now changed. With competition from the port of Bari and the ferry terminal moving 5km out of town, the centre of Brindisi has changed in feel, becoming quieter and more elegant. Brindisi is less exotic than Bari, and more contemporary in feel, but nonetheless its architecture is harmonious in style and the city boasts a number of interesting sights.
