S. Giovanni al Sepolcro
Built by the Templars on their return from the Holy Land in the 11C, the round-shaped San Giovanni al Sepolcro recalls the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem and has a door with a canopy supported by lions. Excavation work has revealed floor mosaics which belonged to a Roman house dating back to the 1C BC.
