Tomba di Rotari (Tomb of Rotharis)

Interesting
The origins of this square building with a gallery supporting two rows of windows and an octagonal drum crowned by a dome are unknown. Although it was once thought to house the remains of Rotharis, king of the Lombards, it is now believed to have been a 12C baptistry. Access to the building is via a beautiful carved doorway flanked by pillars with finely sculpted capitals.
