Cala Gonone

Cala Gonone
The Essential
In the late 19C, the wealthy inhabitants of Nuoro would make the long, tiring journey to this attractive bay for the summer. The small fishing village has gradually developed into the star resort of the Golfo di Orosei, to the east of the national park which links this coast to the Gennargentu mountains. The beaches to the south of Cala Gonone can be reached via footpaths or boat. The most impressive part of the coast lies between Cala Sisine and Cala Biriola.
