Cefalà Diana
The Essential
This little village is known primarily for its Arab baths and 13C castle, which is comprised of a tower originally designed as a defensive rampart on the road linking Palermo to Agrigento. The castle was subsequently used for grain storage until being converted into an aristocratic residence in the 18C. The village boasts a number of striking monuments, as well as some fine bronze statues by Biagio Governali.
