Lago di Tovel
Protected by wild gorges which cut through the Brenta mountains (Parco Naturale Adamello-Brenta), this secluded lake is fringed by wooded slopes. The waters of the lake sometimes take on a reddish tinge due to the presence of microscopic algae. A road leads to a small visitor centre and, on the other side of the lake, the Rislà waterfall, where you'll find two inns and a bar on the lakeshore - a good place for a picnic.
€6 admission and parking charge and in summer, €2 shuttle from Cles and Tuenno
