Corso Andrea Palladio

Interesting
It's only right that the main street through the centre of Vicenza should be named after Andrea Palladio, as many of the palazzi in the town were designed by the architect or his pupils. Note Casa del Cogollo at n° 165 (where the master is thought to have lived); Palazzo Da Schio in Gothic Venetian style at n° 147; Palazzo Thiene (the façade of which overlooks the Contrà S. Gaetano Thiene); Palazzo Barbaran Da Porto; Palazzo Trissino (n° 98); and the solemn Palazzo Valmarana built in 1566 at 16 Corso Fogarazzo.
