National Museum - Archaeological Exhibition

Recommended
What we now know as Lithuania was populated by Indo-European people several thousands of years before Christ. In the 13C, the Lithuanians were united under Mindaugas, the country's first and only king (crowned in 1253). The archaeological exhibition (former arsenal) pulls out all the stops to provide a fascinating insight into what made Lithuania what it was over that long period in history: traditions, daily life, jewellery, splendid costumes. Inspiring.
