European Court of Justice

Recommended
Since 1973, this unusual building has been the seat of the European Union's Court of Justice and is undergoing its fifth extension (2009-2019). Designed by French architect Dominique Perrault, the first court was comprised of a structure all in glass (by Conzemius in 1973; it is still possible to make out the four original floors). To this, 24-storey twin towers were added. The complex is linked by a glazed passageway at basement level.
