Goois Museum (The Gooi Museum)

Housed in a modern extension of the old town hall, this museum traces the history of the town and the Gooi region. Some of the collections focus on the Nieuwe Bouwen, the Dutch functionalist movement, of which Willem Marinus Dudok and Johannes Duiker were two of the main representatives. Temporary exhibitions on design and architecture are also held in the museum.
