Kampen Old Town Hall
Overlooked by the new town hall (18C), this small building dating from 1543 is crowned with galleries and, to the rear, is flanked by an octagonal, slightly leaning tower with an openwork onion dome. Its pinnacled gable is framed by watchtowers. The oak-panelled Magistrates' Hall (Schepenzaal) contains a bench decorated with rich Renaissance reliefs next to a monumental fireplace (1545) by Colijn de Nole.
