Kraków is Poland's urban jewel, a wonder worthy of UNESCO classification, as of 1978, as one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Held dear by Poles, this elegant cultural metropolis and university town, the former royal capital, incarnates the cradle of the Polish nation and culture. Today, Kraków is a young, dynamic city that has made tourism its main raison d'être.
