Lazienkowski Park

Recommended
This park, a former hunting ground of the king, Stanisław II August Poniatowski, lies at the southern end of the Royal Way. He acquired it in 1760 and transformed it into a landscaped garden. Sited among linked ponds and water features formerly used as spas (łazienki in Polish, hence its name), the whole place has conserved its original appearance, gracefully combining the verdant charm of its plants with the architectural successes of the last three centuries. Concerts in summer.
