Market Square in New Town

Market Square is the economic heart of Warsaw's New Town. Nowadays, visitors can admire the well in the centre of the square crowned by a maiden and a unicorn. On its east side, admire the white church of the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament, Baroque in style and in the shape of a Greek cross; and to the north, the 15C brick church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, with a belfry which served as a landmark from the opposite bank of the Vistula.
