Wilanów Palace - Museum of King Jan III
The 17C summer residence of King Jan III Sobieski, this splendid Baroque villa was one of the world's first public museums. Of particular interest are the Crimson Room, Etruscan Study, the Royal apartments, as well as the Gallery of Polish portraits. Set in formal gardens (two-level terrace whose sculptures depict Love) and landscaped grounds, Wilanów is truly an architectural jewel.
