Situated in Baixo Alentejo, Serpa looks down on vast expanses where you can see wheat fields dotted with netted olive trees. The town has preserved its ramparts, which are partly surmounted by an aqueduct. On arrival in Beja, you are greeted by a pleasant view. Don't forget to taste the famous queijo de Serpa, a delicious ewe's milk cheese.
