Route of the Pueblos Blancos
This route, one of the most beautiful in Spain, wends its way through stunning landscapes, wild, desolate mountain regions and verdant valleys. The route is dotted with picturesque whitewashed villages of Moorish origin with narrow winding alleyways, which are usually dominated by the ruins of a castle or the imposing silhouette of a church. Allow three days to explore these villages, including Arcos de la Frontera and Ronda. The village of Grazalema is one of the most interesting stops along the route.
