The Essential
The small town of Ubrique, founded in the 15C in the heart of the Sierra de Grazalema, occupies a beautiful setting across the Cruz del Tajo hill. It is best known for its traditional leather goods. Where it historically turned out tobacco pouches, it now creates satchels and purses. The upper section of the town, beyond Plaza del Ayuntamiento, is home to the 18C church, Nuestra Señora de la O.
