This village is one of the oldest in the Sierra de Aracena Nature Park. The huge 13C church - Nuestra Señora de la Asunción -, the Hieronymite convent, the castle, bullring and narrow winding streets lined by seigniorial mansions are all well worth a visit. The fine leather workshops specialising in saddlery, and the group of dolmens known as the Piedras del Diablo, 3km southwest of the village are Aroche's other main attractions.
