Nuestra Señora de los Remedios
This 18C church, once part of a Franciscan monastery, shows the influence of colonial architecture at the time. On the interior, the three aisles are separated by semi-circular arches resting on pilasters. The remarkable Baroque portal is decorated with representations of the sun, the moon and the stars. Higher up, note the coat-of-arms flanked by two strange heads. The church is crowned by a tower with a pyramid-shaped spire.
