Plaza de España

Recommended
An eye-catching building surrounded by gardens occupies the Plaza de España, around which the 1929 World Fair was organised. A semi-circular gallery lies between two 80m-high towers. On the square, 58 benches decorated with Triana azulejos depict episodes from the history of each province of Spain. As a whole, the site has plenty of charm and feels magical when lit up at night.
