Santa Cruz district

Highly recommended
It is impossible not to fall under the spell of the enchanting Holy Cross district extending through the heart of Seville as far as the church of Santa María la Blanca. The former Jewish quarter during the Middle Ages, which was then occupied by Christians at the end of the 14C, the district is characterised by winding alleyways, picturesque whitewashed houses, secret flower-decked patios and tiny squares. The many tourists who flock here will appreciate its relaxed charm under the hot sun during the day, while in the evening the district's bars and restaurants come to life, making it a perfect place for a stroll.

Our reports

A weekend in Seville

The town that produced Christopher Columbus, Don Juan, and Carmen (who never actually existed) certainly deserves more than a long weekend. You can get round the highlights in three or four days, but you’ll leave wanting more.
