Cambrils
The Essential
Interesting
Like so many other villages along the Catalan coast, this busy fishing village has developed into a popular tourist resort along the Costa Daurada. It is still a charming seaside town and most of its abundant leisure activities are focused around the harbour. The town centre is that which is least affected by rampant urban planning, preserving its maze of narrow picturesque streets, nowadays lined in boutiques and restaurants. A long, pleasant boardwalk skirts the beach and port.
