Santa Maria's Cathedral of La Seu d'Urguell

Located in the heart of the old town, the 12C cathedral (restored in 1918) is a typical example of the Lombardy Romanesque style in Catalonia. Thecloisters date back to the 13C and boast some striking capitals. The 11C church ofSant Miquel is all that remains of a complex built by the bishop Saint Ermengol. TheDiocesan Museum is well worth a visit.
