Parc Natural dul Delta de l'Èbre
The Ebro delta is situated at the southern tip of Catalonia. Designated a natural park in 1983, and covering an area of 7 736ha, it is the largest wetland area in the region. More than 300 species of birds are found here, along with many migratory birds and extensive fish stocks. Today, three-quarters of the delta is occupied by paddy fields, market gardens and orchards.
