Sant Carles de la Ràpita

Sant Carles de la Ràpita
The Essential
This major seaside resort was built by order of Charles III on the spot of a fishing village, Ràpita. Today the town is famous for its cuisine, which uses llagostí (langoustines) in tapas and other dishes. A perfect base camp from which to explore the Ebro Delta, it also boasts a museum devoted to this region's very diverse marine life and maritime activities.
