Chapel of San Antonio de la Florida

Interesting
It is in this chapel that Goya is buried. The brilliant painter, who hailed from Aragon, painted the frescoes in the cupola in 1798 and, while supposedly illustrating one of the miracles of St Anthony of Padua, actually left us a remarkable insight into 18C life in Madrid.
