Santa María del Naranco

Recommended
A World Heritage Site since 1985, the Iglesia de Santa María del Naranco is a harmonious quadrangular edifice with two floors. It was originally the reception room of the summer residence built for King Ramiro I of Asturias in the 9C on the south face of Monte Naranco. The intricate decoration is very homogeneous and cleverly adapted to architectural necessity.
