Skansen Open Air Museum

Highly recommended
Founded in 1891 by Artur Hazelius, this open-air museum defies superlatives: the most beautiful, the oldest and the biggest! Each habitat has been recreated here: a Sami camp, a Finnish camp, a Dalarna log-built farm, a farm from Härjedal covered with bark, a forgemaster's farm, an 18C half-timbered house etc. A communal hall, school, bell towers and other key features of society have also been rebuilt here, making a visit here truly fascinating.
