The Röhss Museum of Decorative Arts
This vast museum was opened in 1916 thanks to a legacy from the Röhss brothers, and enhanced by many subsequent donations. The museum retraces the history of international design from the beginning of industrialisation to the present day. Five rooms display collections of ceramics, furniture, posters and glassware, in addition to everyday items characteristic of Scandinavian design and which have had an impact on society. The collection of Falk Simon silverware, comprising masterpieces from the Middle Ages to the 19C, is an added bonus.
