This museum, housed in an old church, stands out as the major museum of the history of the civilisation of the Upper Rhine. Admire the fine furniture in several reconstituted rooms, and many objects (coins, tapestries, fountains, etc.). Several religious sculptures and stained-glass windows are also exhibited, among which fragments of the Danse Macabre by K. Witz (15C), a fresco made during the era of the Council of Basel.
