Adelboden, renowned for its mild climate, is an elegant summer and winter resort, perched high in the Bernese Oberland (highlands). The village stretches out opposite a majestic horizon of limestone mountains, overlooked by the striking Wildstrubel peak (alt. 3,253m). The downhill skiing domain is linked to that of Lenk and boasts 210km of slopes and some fifty ski lifts. With a maximum altitude of 2,138m, they cater mainly to skiers of average ability.
